Analysis of soil condition of salyan district , Nepal
Salyan is a sub-tropical climatic zone of Nepal . Which is located at wester Nepal above 900 meter above sea level. Mid-hilly region so good climatic conditions for framing .The farmer of salyan cultivate cereal crops (like paddy, maize, wheat) , pulses, vegetable , zinger, orange etc. Framer are doing framing and enjoying their life with profitability which helps to improve their living standard .
Most farmer have less knowledge about soil profile and their properties. They dont't know about soil test and their care and managements method due to lack of awarness. Farmer cultivate same crop regularly without crop rotation which make soil unfertile or essential nutrients deficiate in the soil .Around 1204 farmer start preparation of fields for paddy cultivation without any soil testing or soil property analysis.
